Culver City Arts District Launches Summer Festivals, Gallery Walks This Saturday

A free, all-ages street festival this Saturday along Washington Boulevard will kick off one of the busiest stretches of the summer for Culver City's arts scene. The annual Culver City Art Walk & Roll Festival runs from 11 AM to 6 PM, featuring live music, a beer garden, food vendors and an International Arts Zone that showcases global cultural traditions. The event is organised by the city and has become a signature mid-summer gathering for residents and visitors alike.

Starting Thursday, July 17, 2026, and running through August 28, the Summer Sunset Music Series takes over Town Plaza at the Culver Steps every Thursday evening at 7 PM. The free, family-friendly concert series has become a regular draw for locals looking to wind down the week with live music in an outdoor plaza setting. The Culver Steps development, located in the heart of downtown, has emerged as a central gathering spot for community events.

New Artist Laureate and a Thriving Gallery Scene

Victoria Marks began a two-year term as Culver City Artist Laureate on July 1, 2025, a role designed to support and elevate the city's creative community. Her appointment signals the city's broader commitment to public art and cultural leadership. The Culver City Arts District, anchored along Washington and La Cienega Boulevards, continues to draw art enthusiasts with contemporary galleries including Blum & Poe, Kopeikin Gallery, Walter Maciel Gallery and the Museum of Jurassic Technology.
